Box Top Load System with a single Delta Robot

This machine receives single-wrapped products and places them into boxes according to the requested formats.

The products are conveyed into the machine long-side-leading on belt conveyors. The first infeed conveyor is a retractable belt conveyor to reject the products in case of need. The second conveyor directly feed the holders of the collating system, from where they are picked by the robot.

On the other side of the machine, the empty formed boxes are phased by a box stopper and then driven by a servo-driven lug chain conveyor through the loading area in order to have an accurate position during the operation, allowing the placing of products into the carton boxes in flat position side by side as requested format.

The robot is able to perform the picking and placing position thanks to the gripper head, equipped with a vacuum circuit and pneumatic cylinders to adapt to the different pitch of products on the slat and inside the boxes.

Hygienic and Design Requirements:

FIFO BUFFER is designed and constructed according to the following characteristics:

• Standard module designed and built with easy access for cleaning
• All parts in contact with the product to be FDA approved
