ROLE DESCRIPTION:

With a view to giving greater continuity and structure to internal testing activities, the successful candidate will manage the following activities independently:

  • Carry out, directly and/or with the support of a team, the system testing phases that precede the FAT with the customer;
  • Obtain the information necessary for testing from PM and UT;
  • Manage a cross-functional team of testers based on the assigned project;
  • Validate the testing phases by completing the relevant checklists
  • Once testing is complete, manage follow-up meetings with UT in order to report positive elements (best practices) and any technical issues with a view to continuous improvement
  • Actively support junior staff in order to pass on knowledge, passion, and values, with the aim of acting as a role model and example

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mechanical engineering diploma/degree in engineering
  • At least 3 years’ experience in internal testing in sectors operating in the field of automatic machines
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Willingness to travel

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge of mechanical principles, with particular reference to kinematics and pneumatics

  • Mechanical installation and testing at the customer’s premises, coordinating with the Technical Department and paying close attention to the deadlines agreed with the Project Manager.
  • Functional testing of the machines during commissioning up to FAT, assisted by the mechanical designer if necessary.
  • Preparation of accurate and timely reports on the progress of the work.

  • Maintain general accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Supervise the accounts receivable and payable cycles, account reconciliation, and monthly and annual closing processes
