ROLE OBJECTIVES:

The role aims to ensure the efficiency and punctuality of incoming and outgoing logistics flows, optimizing time, costs, and warehouse resources. It ensures inventory accuracy and document compliance with import/export and trade compliance requirements. It coordinates logistics service providers to maintain and improve service levels, while supporting the integration of logistics processes with ERP systems to support production and quality functions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans and supervises parcel collection and shipping activities to customers and/or suppliers, manages the operational issuance of transport documents
  • Supports import/export processes with regard to operational logistics aspects
  • Supports trade compliance processes in the production of accompanying documentation for goods (supplier declarations, shipper documents)
  • Manages logistics service providers in compliance with and improvement of costs and service levels
  • Plans and supervises internal logistics and warehouse activities
  • Acts as a point of reference for resident logistics and porterage service companies
  • Monitors inventory status and supervises periodic inventory auditing processes
  • Supports logistics/production/quality processes in ERP management (production reversal/quality returns)

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Degree in engineering, economics, or equivalent qualifications

  • Prepares all technical documentation relating to commissioning activities to support the project team
  • Develops and shares the internal testing plan with the team
