SCOPE OF SUPPLY
Grupo Alacant required an automated solution capable of increasing production capacity and ensuring consistent product quality, while operating within limited space at their Madrid facility. The goal was to streamline manual processes and achieve flexible, high-speed packaging for multiple cone formats.

CT PACK’S SOLUTION
CT Pack developed a compact, high-performance secondary packaging line tailored to Grupo Alacant’s production needs.
The system collects ice cream cones directly from the cooling tunnel using a four-axis robot, which transfers them onto a twelve-lane buffer and into patented V-shape conveyors that ensure perfect alignment. A cluster of five Delta robots then performs precise and flexible pick & place operations, loading cones into boxes of 4, 6, or 20 units – single or dual flavour – without mechanical adjustments.
With a capacity of up to 500 cones per minute, the solution combines speed, flexibility, and product integrity in a remarkably small footprint.
Designed in close collaboration with Grupo Alacant, it embodies CT Pack’s ability to turn complex packaging challenges into streamlined, automated efficiency.
