LIFO Buffer: the solution for buffering rows of products

The LIFO Buffer is usually placed downstream from the packaging line’s various cross-feeding stations. It’s made by one or more belt conveyors that can be superposed. The belts will run backward in order to re-feed the buffered products to the line at the end of production shifts, or during production in case a suitable cross-feeding station is installed.

Available Options:

• Covering the buffer with polycarbonate in order to be able to shoot fresh air into it to prevent the products from being damaged while being buffered
• Stainless steel structure

Hygienic and Design Requirements:

LIFO BUFFER is designed and constructed according to the following characteristics:

• Standard module built with hygienic design and easy access for cleaning
• All parts in contact with the product are FDA approved
• The conveyors can be replaced without cutting the carpet and re-welding it in place, but using a closed-loop carpet with all the advantages this entails.
